Trading platform
The trading environment handles market interaction and account access, but it is only one system in the overall stack.
CRM and client area
The CRM manages internal client operations while the client area exposes selected onboarding and account actions to the customer.
Verification and payments
KYC and payment providers typically integrate into the client lifecycle and require explicit ownership of status and error handling.
Execution-side dependencies
Liquidity and bridge architecture can be relevant depending on the brokerage operating model and commercial setup.
Analytics and monitoring
Acquisition analytics, operational reporting, logs and monitoring help teams understand both conversion and system health.
Document one complete path through the stack
Choose one representative client journey and trace it across systems. For example: registration, verification review, trading-account request, account creation and a back-office status update. Identify the system that owns each record and the team that responds when that step cannot finish.
| Record or event | Ownership question | Failure case to review |
|---|---|---|
| Client identity | Which system creates the stable client identifier? | Duplicate registration or mismatched identity. |
| Verification status | Who can approve or reject the workflow? | Status changes after an account request. |
| Trading account | Who creates it and returns its identifier? | Timeout after creation but before confirmation. |
| Payment status | Which record is reconciled by operations? | Duplicate notification or delayed confirmation. |
| Reporting | Which source is used for each report? | A missing event or stale account state. |
Keep a diagram or a table with interfaces, access owners and escalation contacts. Review it when a vendor changes or a new client journey is added. This document should help operations answer where a request stopped without depending on the person who originally configured it.
Next, review CRM workflow ownership, bridge dependencies and MT5 event handling.
